                           Responsible for the installation, integration, and commissioning

                           Nokia Flexi LTE, UMTS, and GSM systems Modernization project.

                           Also responsible for supervising 3^rd party vendors, NTP’s, RFDS,

                           Construction drawing, site equipment, supervising all BTS

                           Engineers, and ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.

                           Additional duties included training personnel on Nokia Flexi LTE,

                           UMTS, and GSM equipment installation and commissioning, and

                           Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing equipment.

 

 

                          April 2013 to October 2013

                          US Cellular – Field Engineer (Contractor)

                          Install, integrate, and Commission Nokia Flexi LTE 700 MHz

                          Overlay system. This included all equipment installs, system turn-                   

                          Up, troubleshooting, and maintenance, test calls, and site

                          acceptance

                          Project complete.

 

                          May 2012 to March 2013

                          NSN - Field Manager (Contractor) T-Mobile – Kansas City

                          Responsible for the installation, integration, maintenance, and

                          Commissioning of Nokia Flex LTE (4G) system, 7705 Routers,

                          CAT 5 and CAT 6 Cables, Tower installation, RFDS, Construction

                        Design, drawings, and equipment. Also responsible for selection

                         And supervision of General Contractors and Punch Walks, ordering

                         Equipment, NTP’s, and site acquisitions, FAA Survey, and FCC

                         Regulations, permits and safety protocols. Additional duties

                         Included training personnel on Nokia Flexi LTE, UMTS and GSM

                         GSM equipment installation, commissioning and integration, and

                         Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing equipment.

                         Project complete.

                       

                   2008 to May 2012

                          T-Mobile – Indianapolis/Cincinnati: Contractor – Field Engineer

                          Responsible for Installation, integration, and maintenance of

                          Nortel GSM and Nokia Flexi systems, HSPA, RF, Ethernet and

                          T-1 testing, 2^nd carriers, AAV Installs, and microwave systems.

                          Also performed duties as Switch Technician. All installed DAS

                          Network in Walmarts where T-Mobiles stores are located.

                          Also responsible for overseeing all tower work and civil

                          Construction, permits, and General Contractors. Additional

                          Duties included training personnel on Nokia LTE, UMTS and

                          Nortel GSM equipment installation and commissioning, and

                          Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing equipment.

                       

                           2006 to 2008                                                                          

   AT&T Wireless: Field Engineer (Contractor)

                   I performed the installation, integration, and commissioning,

   And maintenance of Ericsson, Nokia Flexi, and Nortel GSM and

   UMTS. Also installed and integrated AAV HSPA systems and

                          In-store BDA  (Bi-Directional Amplifier) systems. Additional

                          Duties included Switch Tech operations, performing site turn-up,

                          Maintenance and re-homes, and Central Office Technician, T-1

                         Tester, 2^nd and 3^rd carrier adds, and Alcatel MDR 8000 Microwave

                          Systems. Also installed WiFi Network in AT&T stores. Also

                          Responsible for supervising all tower work, RFDS, construction

                          Drawing, and managing contractors, and permits. Additional

                          Duties included training personnel on Nokia, Ericsson and Nortel

                           Equipment installation, commissioning, and integration, and

                           Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing equipment.

 

                          2004 to 2006

                           Digital Bridge (WIMAX) – Construction Manager

                           Responsible for all tower work, civil engineering, permits,

                           Ordering parts, tracking installations, working with FAA on

                           Site study, overseeing 3^rd party vendors and contractors,

                           And Microwave Systems

 

                          2000 to 2004

                          AT&T/Wireless – Field Engineer

                          Ericsson, Nokia, and Nortel GSM and CDMA system installation,

                          Integration, and maintenance, T-1 Tester, Alcatel MDR 8000 and           

                          Lynx Microwave System installation and maintenance and VSAT

                          Systems. Also responsible for training personnel on BTS

                          equipment installation and commissioning.

 

   1994 to 2000

                        Switch Engineer/Technician – Independent Contractor

                     Responsible for the operation and maintenance for various land

   Line switches and transport systems. This included trunk builds,

   translations, VSAT, DACS, T-1 Testing and Microwave Systems.

   I performed these duties for the following companies:

   CTS World Exchange – Siemens DCO Switch, Excel Telecom –

                          Alcatel DEX 600E Mega Hub Switch, Primus Telecom - Nortel

              DMS 250/300 Switch. Also installed Argus, Lorraine, and Tyco

                         Power Systems and Battery Systems. Additional duties included

                         Training personnel on Switch operations and maintenance.

                          U.S. Navy

   Radioman – Communications Specialist responsible for all HF,

   UHF, and satellite secure (encrypted) and unsecure voice and

   Data networks, and training and supervision of personnel.
